A Change of Heart

Going into this war in Iraq I was very opposed to it. And I still think that we were unjustified in how we went to war against Sadaam Hussein's regime. Although I think he is an evil guy, and I also think that this "invasion" has changed our face in a lot of ways throughout the world. But today I read a post on the Iraq The Model blog and it nearly brought me to tears in my little cubicle.

I still don't think that going to war the way we did was the right thing. But now I have hope that at least our rash actions may improve lives for some people and help the Iraqi's taste freedom. I truly hope that the elections in January and their new government are succsessful and I wish there was something I could do to help.
