Beautiful Day

Jeff Jarvis mentions the weather on the day of the Tsunami. Like 9/11 it was a beautiful day. In fact for a little while after 9/11 the U2 song Beautiful Day used to make me very sad. I never could figure out why, but I think its because that day was stunningly beautiful, and even though they had a whole different song for the purpose of commemorating it, Beautiful Day will always be the song that I think of when I think of 9/11. I think it might be because that song is so hopeful and beautiful that it comforted me. But, who knows.
